Really unique

Queries even work except for left join queries and for functions like rnd. Wish to be able to enlarge column.

Update for iOS 6 ?

Request update for iPad iOS 6 (problem with pictures, always view the same picture).

Good App

I like it, but its not good with Voice Over. There are many things to do.

Need more but good start

Can only read your TABLE or QUERY Do not expect to have your FORM in this App. Need to have a third party to put you .mdb in a cloud, then you always up to date. Crash in big table, ok for small table. It didnt show all my Query though. I cant wait for more upgrade for this App. Too pricy for what this app can do now.

Not really an Access apps

This apps claims to be an access type of emulator, but in fact is only a bi excel spreadsheet app! No forms, reports or relationships can be created, not even a bit of code or macro can be created. It is more of an excel app where you have spreadsheet that you can make graphics/charts with. Don be fool it isnt what they claim it is. And on top of it all it is WAY too expensive for what it actually delivers!!!

Data glass

Pretty good implementation of access, with support for relations and queries. Would like to be able to change column widths in the tables and queries.

Actually I can do nothing with it

I think it is a waste of money. I can do nothing with it.

Forms

Without the use of forms or reports, this app is no good to me. If youre only looking for basic tables and queries functions, this will work.

Great

I bought this due to the fact it was the only program that allows me to load my MS Access database files and view them similar to Access on my laptop. Only thing one needs is a primary key to create database. I would like to see features like report design, database design and using switchboard control. It is a great app. I have more than 1,500 books and growing in my collections. My only regret is that we do not have the actual. MS Access or FileMaker PRo Advance available on the iPad to purchase.

Fine as a portable "lite" version of my database

I dont add any new records using this app, but as a portable "lite" version of my PC database, it works fine. I was a bit disappointed that all the features of the Access database on my PC didnt import--primarily the photos that had been included with each item. Also, because the Search criteria dont include the option of "part of field" (only "begins with" or "ends with") it can be a bit hit or miss. Queries are clunky. That said, it has imported all the queries I designed on the PC, so I can use them for my purposes. Now if only I could get Access for my new iMac...

Good but not great

Basic fonctions works good but without the form, it is not as easy to use as Access. But it is a good tool to gater data where computer arent available.

Poor

No ability to clone, copy database. This would be good if you could. Disappointed overall. Hard to create database, have to do on pc, then send to iPad.

Useless

Useless. I want to be able to open, in my iPad, the same Access frontend that runs on my PCs at home and at the office, which connects to a backend database stored in DropBox, but I cant. Can I please get a refund?

Perfect compliment to Access on your home PC.

I have been using this app for about six months now. Originally, I experienced the frustrations that many here who have poorly reviewed this app had. Namely, I had an existing Access database, and I expected it to run the same on my iPhone as on my PC. It doesnt. But when you think about what youd need to carry your database around on your phone for, and then adjust your use of this app to that, it actually works perfectly. I created a second database from my original one containing nothing but the tables and a few queries. This is much smaller and emails back and forth much more easily. Then, once a week or so, I can import the tables back into the original database, and use the power built into it for analysis and reporting. The two complement each other perfectly. I do wish there were more robust support for queries in the app. And I took a hard stumble on the inflexible way that the app handles dates (as datetime, ugh!), which required some modifications to my SQL on my main system. My husband, who isnt usually into such things, insisted I make a database for his business, once he saw how easily he could use his phone to keep track of his jobs, expenses and contact info. Hes thrilled with it, and uses it easily, despite often having trouble with this sort of thing. I look forward to watching this terrific app evolve.

İmpossible to change field widths

1 star to not to update for 3 years.

I was able to open .accdb files from Access 2011 – that’s great. But very frequently App can’t open tables, including small and others from Sample DB. You need to click table again and it will open in timely manner. Sometimes App closes without any error message. Queries built in MS Access, including very simple (like is numbers greater than X), does not work at all. Please fix your App.

Ottimo

Ottimo . Ci fosse anche per Mac !

Df

Not good you cant open Form, only tables and query

HOT GARBAGE

Almost zero functionality. If you want to waste $5 donate to charity or buy a homeless person a beer. This program is worthless!!

Limited funtionality

All I can see are the tables, like a big spread sheet. Better off exporting tables in Excel and viewing with ios viewer app. Search function worked, but would not add linked tables headings/foreign key. No reporting available from dba reports No use to me. Lost my 5 bucks. Save yours if you need more than a spreadsheet
